I’ve been working with That’s That Productions since April 2018 as part of preparing for the new obligations under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Under article 15 of the GDPR, any CCTV footage requested as part of a data protection request must now be issued in commonly used electronic format. This means that any CCTV footage released requires pixilation. As CCTV footage forms the bulk of data protection requests made to Dublin Bus, it was vital that we had a service provider with an ability to work to tight and sometimes changing deadlines and whose quality of work was of a high standard. The ability to demonstrate sufficient technical and organisational measures in place to keep our data safe and secure was also a key ask. I am happy to say that That’s That Productions have met these requirements and more. Despite a significant increase in subject access requests for CCTV made under the GDPR, Dublin Bus has been able to action every single request within the 30-day deadline. That’s That Productions have played a significant role in achieving this.
